Some new words! Well it is not often that you come across new words that are so useful you wish that you had them before. So here they are:
- autological – Some thing that is self descriptive.
- hetrological – Some thing that is non-self-descriptive.
And some words that I had lost from my vocab until recently (rediscovered as part of my re-reading of The Poverty of Historicism:
- Historicism: The use of historical data in the social sciences to predict future events (social events)
- Anti-Naturalistic Doctrine: The use of a non-scientific doctrine. Often used in the context of social sciences.
- Naturalistic Doctrine: The use of scientific methodology (as it relates to the Physical sciences eg: Physics). Often used in the context of social sciences.

Finally John Howard and I Agree!
At last I have found some common ground with John Howard! Yes I know it sounds far fetched but it is true.
I agree with John Howard. 20 twenty cricket just isn’t cricket. I can see how us work’n folk might enjoy playing the new format of the game. But going to see it….. it just ain’t right.
Good one John.
